Cathy is an advisor to nonprofit and school leaders who want to move from ideation to action. She helps leaders and coalitions re-imagine what’s possible and create actionable plans. She can manage the big picture and the details of complex projects. Work includes design, strategy, planning, and implementation.
Cathy has devoted her broad expertise and energy to improving the lives of young children and their families for over two decades. As leader of a program to raise kindergarten readiness, she coordinated 20 schools and a team of instructional coaches to transform pre‑K teacher quality. As a grants manager, she helped align giving to research-based practices. At the state level, she supported multiple procurement processes, designing grant evaluation tools and scoring applications. As an educational trainer, she provoked “aha” moments to shift practice.
